Airports Reopen in Pakistan as Flights Resume Gradually

Airports in Islamabad, Lahore, Sialkot, and Karachi have reopened after a temporary suspension due to heightened tensions between Pakistan and India. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) initially halted operations for security reasons but later decided to resume flights in phases.

By Thursday evening, operations returned to normal at Islamabad, Lahore, and Sialkot airports, while Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport reopened earlier than expected. As flights resumed, passengers were redirected, and PIA along with other airlines provided accommodation and updates to affected travelers.
